Spring Elves - The Paper Shelter - TPS.DT

Good morning everyone it with a little heavy heart that today is my last day on The Paper Shelter design team.  I have been with them for almost 2 years and felt it was time to give someone else the chance to work with their beautiful images.  I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with them.

Today's challenge is 'Spring Delights' and I have chosen one of the newest images 'Spring Elves' to work with.

I think they are charming. They are cut with a SB grand circle and mounted onto a grand decorative circle.
I used a MB tree, floral border and 2 flower stems. The fence is from Doohicky. The larger butterflies and the grass border are Cheery Lynn and the small butterflies are a MS punch. Gems from my stash.

They are coloured of course with Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Triamarkers and a Little Prisma Pencil. I added distress ink to the background.

I hadn't finished the inside when I took the photo's but it does match the inside.

Veronica and Pedro are very generously offering their usual prize of a $30 voucher to spend in store if you use a TPS image or 3 digi's of your choice for any other image used.

The other girls have made some fabulous cards for your inspiration this week, I hope you will check them out.
Finally I would like to say a huge thank you to Shirley, Marie, Veronica and Pedro and all the girls I have worked with for making my time with The Paper Shelter so enjoyable.

Daffodils and Butterfly - Delicious Doodles - Passion For Promarkers DT

Good morning everyone, hope you are all well and enjoying the better weather we appear to be having.
Today is the start of a new challenge at Passion For Promarkers and the lovely Julie has chosen the theme 'Embossing Dry or Heat'. So lots of scope there.
I decided to go with dry.  I don't know about you but I keep buying embossing folders and just never seem to get around to using them. Well today I have and its a floral square one from Crafters Companions, and this forms the base of my card.

My image is from Delicious Doodles and I have printed the image 4 times and decoupaged the flowers and butterfly and added an extra butterfly. The flowers are WOC. The doily behind the image is from Tonic. Leaves are a MS punch. Ribbon and pearls from my stash.  It doesn't show very well but I added stickles just about everywhere.

The image is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prisma pencils. The inside does reflect the front.

The other girls on the team have made some fabulous cards for your inspiration this week, I hope you will check them out here and visit their blogs.  Our sponsor this week is Polkadoodles

There's a Fairy in my tea - The Paper Shelter -TPS DT

Good morning everyone back again, and thankfully getting most things working on the new pc.  Today is the start of a new challenge at The Paper Shelter where our theme this week is 'Away with the Fairies'. I just had to used the delightful 'There's a Fairy in my tea' for this one and teamed her up with a backing sheet from 'Love and Letters (04)'.

I fussy cut her and mounted the backing on SB grand labels 1 with layers of decorative grand labels 1.  The butterfly is MB and sentiment LOTV mounted onto a Lacey circle and the smallest of the decorative labels. Flowers from WOC and ribbon from The Ribbon Girl. The leaves are a MS punch. Pearls and charm from my stash.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Triamarkers and Prisma pencil, and I did add a little stickles here and there.

The inside does reflect the front.

Our generous prize as always from Veronica and Pedro is $30 voucher if you use a TPS image, or 3 digi's of your choice for any other image.

The other girls have made some fabulous cards for your inspiration this week, I hope you will take the time to have a look.

Elf with Poppy Blooms - Aurorawings - Passion for Promarkers DT

Well finally I get to post my card.   What a couple of days I've had. Was working on the pc on Sunday and thought I could smell something strange......  I could..... it was the power supply burning out.  Smoke and sparks coming from the pc...... luckily for me it didn't affect the hard drive and the lovely little boy.... must be at least 18... :)  managed to save it and add it to my new pc. £440 later and a days wait and I am up and running again and desperately trying to work out what to reinstall.  This is also a Windows 7... totally different from Vista so it will take a while to get used to.
Anyhow enough of my moans.... Welcome to my new follower, thanks for taking the time to join my list.

Today is the start of a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and I have chosen this week's theme, which is 'Butterfly Kisses' (must have a butterfly somewhere).... easy or what?

I have used another image from Aurora Wings and this is Elf with Poppy Blooms.  I adore poppies but decided to go with the Icelandic type this time.

No added flowers as I didn't want to detract from the gorgeous image. She is cut with a SB Grand oval and matted onto another one and then I added a Grand Decorative oval.  The sentiment is from LOTV and is mounted onto a lacey circle.  The butterflies under the ribbon and the single one are from MB and the ones on the other side are Joanna Sheens.  Everything is mounted onto co-ordinations.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers, and Triamarkers. I also added Prisma pencil for extra depth and stickles to the lightest parts of the flowers. Wish it showed more.  I also filled in the butterfly wings with glossy accents, but again it doesn't show.

The inside does reflect the front.

We have two generous sponsors this week – first is our regular sponsor Letraset and they are offering one lucky winner a flex marker 6 pack of pens.
